But when Albion’s chief magical law enforcement officer is assassinated, his will names Greg as guardian of his two orphaned children.  Their uncle, Lord Torrance, erupts in fury.  Determined to seize the children, he unleashes a deadly arsenal—mind-control spells, rigged warrants, even magical bombs.

To protect his new family, Greg must outsmart Lord Torrance at his own game.  But in a world where the magois always win, can a techie cop save what matters most?
